PROGRAMS
Business Energy Services Team (BEST)
Provides a no-cost energy assessment and detailed proposal of energy-saving recommendations, rebate offers and installation of approved energy-saving equipment to help small businesses save energy and money. For more information call 1-800-576-6405.

Smart Lights Program
Specially designed to help small businesses upgrade to energy-efficient lighting by providing a free, no-obligation lighting evaluation and subsidies towards installation of new, more efficient lighting. Small businesses, small institutional facilities and common areas of multifamily buildings are eligible. Call 1-510-981-8955 ext 223 for more information or click here.

Building Tune-Up Program
Works with large business customers by providing no-cost evaluations designed to help optimize complex building systems, such as controls, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and lighting.  BTU also provides incentive funding to reduce the cost of recommissioning the building.  Call 1-866-716-9400 for more information or visit www.buildingtuneup.com.

California Youth Energy Services (CYES)
Professionally trained youth install free compact fluorescent lamps (CFLS) and more in homes and apartments. Attic insulation is available at up to 90% market price discount. For services and energy-saving strategies call 1-510-665-1501 ext 12 or visit www.risingsunenergy.org.

EnergyWise™ REALTOR®*
East Bay Energy Watch, working with residential real estate trade associations and the California Department of Real Estate (DRE), trains qualified agents/brokers and home inspectors to provide time-of-sale energy check-ups for new homeowners.

Sustainable Berkeley
A marketing and outreach program designed to influence restaurants and large businesses to make pledges to implement sustainability efforts. Work is coordinated with local government efforts.

This program is funded by California utility ratepayers under the auspices of the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC). Funding is limited. Rebates and services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis until December 31, 2008 or until program funds are depleted, whichever comes first.
