AMBAG Energy Watch

A joint project of Pacific Gas and Electric Company and the Association of Monterey Bay Area Governments (AMBAG) 

Capitol Beach AMBAG Energy Watch offers you a number of tools to save energy, lower costs and, if you own or operate a hospitality business, operate more efficiently. The program is open to PG&E residential and business customers.

PROGRAMS
Home Buyers Program
Specialized services to home-buyers including an energy audit and free energy-efficient measures, such as compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) and hardwired lighting fixtures.

Hospitality Program
Energy audits and technical services to small business customers in the food service and hospitality industries, including estimates of projected savings, assistance in completing rebate applications, and referral to qualified vendors and installers.

Municipal Program
Survey of major energy-consuming systems to identify potential energy-saving opportunities within municipal buildings. Examples of energy-savings measures include lighting retrofits and retro commissioning.

AMBAG is a voluntary organization of the counties of Monterey, San Benito, and Santa Cruz, and the cities within these counties. AMBAG provides a forum for local elected officials to plan, discuss, and study issues of regional significance and mutual interest, and make policy and action recommendations.

 

California consumers are not obligated to purchase any full fee service or other service not funded by this program. This program is funded by California utility ratepayers under the auspices of the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC). Funding is limited. Rebates and services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis until December 31, 2008 or until program funds are depleted, whichever comes first.
