Stockton Energy Watch

A joint project of Pacific Gas and Electric Company and the City of Stockton

Stockton Energy Watch is designed to help reduce the amount of energy used in the City of Stockton. The program will deliver energy-efficiency services and programs to qualified small businesses (less than 100 kW demand) and single-family and multi-family PG&E customers.

PROGRAMS
Single-Family and Multifamily Direct Install Program
Energy-efficiency experts will canvass designated neighborhoods and identify single and multifamily homes that qualify for the installation of a variety of free energy-efficient measures such as compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) and indoor and/or exterior hardwired lighting. Residents with single family homes may also receive a free energy analysis that can help them identify how they are using their energy and ways to save.
Small Business Direct Install Program
Energy-efficiency experts will contact local small businesses and offer to perform a free energy audit that helps the business owner identify energy-saving opportunities and provides information regarding energy-efficient equipment. Qualifying customers may receive direct installation of selected energy-efficient measures, such as lighting, LED exit signs, occupancy sensors, refrigeration door gaskets, strip curtains and more free of charge.

Municipal Facility Retrofit Program
Technical consultants will survey major energy-consuming systems within public facilities owned, operated or occupied by the City of Stockton. The consultants will identify potential energy-efficiency opportunities and recommend applicable incentive programs that may help offset the initial investment in energy-efficiency measures. Project management services may also be available to qualified municipal facilities.
